WHAT: Mayor Menino will conduct the swearing in ceremony for Edward F. Davis III, who will accept the honor of being the 40th Police Commissioner of the Boston Police Department. The ceremony will include the Oath of Office, the presentation of the Commissioner’s Badge and a performance by the Boston Police Gaelic Column.
