Armed Robbery of a Business in South Boston

Yesterday around 3:08pm, officers in District 6 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery in progress at 305 W. Broadway Street (Kim’s Market). On arrival officers spoke with the caller who stated two black males robbed them at gunpoint. The victim went on to state that the suspect attempted to purchase cigarettes and scratch tickets, but realized that he had no cash and left the store. The suspect returned a short time later with another suspect, pointed a gun and demanded money. Both suspects fled in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of cash and lottery tickets.

Breaking and Entering Suspect Arrested

Yesterday at 3:27pm, officers in District 2 responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress at 10 Millmont Street. On arrival officers went to rear of the building to locate where the break had taken place. Officers were given a description of the suspect and observed him exiting the rear basement door and jumping a fence. Officers chased the suspect and apprehended him on Dorr Street. Officers observed that the rear door had been pried open. Glen Deloney, 50, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering, Possession of Burglarious Tools.
