Suspects Shoot at Massachusetts State Troopers in Dorchester

At about 10:40pm, officers from District 3 responded to Torrey and Washington Streets in Dorchester on a report of shots fired. On arrival, the Boston Officers received preliminary information from two State Troopers assigned to the H-Troop Community Action Team who stated while at Talbot Ave and Norfolk Street the Troopers heard shots fired from the area of Whitfield and Norfolk Streets. The Troopers observed two suspects and began to follow them on Washington toward Withington Street. On Withington Street the suspects fled and entered a black S.U.V. while firing multiple rounds at the Troopers in the area of Torrey and Withington Streets. These bullets hit no police officers or civilians. Investigators have recovered ballistic evidence at multiple locations in the area. Boston and State Police continue to investigate this incident.
