Hamlet Street Homicide Victim Identified

Boston Police detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding any witnesses who may have information related to the shooting of two men on Hamlet Street in Roxbury.

On November 7, 2006, at about 9:04 pm, officers from District 2 responded to a radio call for two men shot in front of 11 Hamlet Street. Two male victims were discovered at that location suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced on scene and is identified as Hakeen Horton, 17, of Roxbury. The second victim was transported to a local hospital, where his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
