Death Investigation at 36 Georgia Street

At approximately 12:36am this morning, officers from District 2 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 36 Georgia St. On arrival, officers located a victim suffering from apparent gunshot wound. EMS responded and pronounced the victim at the scene.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.

Identities of callers wishing to remain anonymous shall be protected.
