Bronze Statue Stolen in Roslindale

Boston Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a bronze statue stolen from Roslindale Square. Police are also looking for any witnesses who may have information related to this larceny.

This evening an incident report was filed at District 5 stating that sometime between November 13, 2006 and November 14, 2006 the statue was stolen. The statue is described as being “Alexander the Great” a four to five foot bronze statue weighing between 300- 400 pounds. Anyone with information about this larceny or the location of this statue is urged to contact District 5 detectives at 617-343-4560 or remain anonymous by calling the Boston Police Crime Stoppers Tip line at 800-494-TIPS.
