Victim Identified in Hyde Park Avenue Homicide

The Boston Police Department continues to ask for the public's assistance in locating a murder suspect.

At 9:44pm on Thursday October 12, 2006, officers from District 18 responded to 1282 Hyde Park Ave. On arrival, officers observed a victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he was later pronounced. This homicide is a result of a personal dispute between the victim and the suspect. . The victim has been identified as Jeff Igbineweka, 28, of Roslindale. The cause of death has been determined to be stab wounds and the manner of death is considered a homicide.

Homicide investigators have identified the suspect as Haussan Leon Harris.

Hair: Close cropped cut
Height: 5 ft. 9 in.
Lbs: 220
LSD: Black or dark purple Mercedes Benz in good condition
License Plate: unknown
Last Known Address: Brockton
