Update To Harvard Street and Cummings Highway Shooting

Boston Police Homicide Detectives are now investigating the murder of a black male found shot last evening in Mattapan. This is the 55th homicide victim of 2006.

At 11:00pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, officers from District 18 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 10 Wood Ave. Officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound at Harvard Street and Cummings Highway. EMS transported the victim to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
