Death Investigation at Fox Street and Mt. Ida Road

About 11:39pm last night, officers from District 11 responded to a call for shots fired at Fox Street and Mt. Ida Road. Upon arrival officers located a victim inside of a motor vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced at the scene.

Boston Police Homicide Detectives are actively investigating this incident and urge anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Boston Police Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS
