Pedestrian Struck at 500 Rutherford Avenue

This morning around 9:08am, officers in District 15 responded to 500 Rutherford Avenue for a pedestrian struck. On arrival officers located a victim suffering from a serious leg injury. The victim was taken to Mass General Hospital and treated for his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time, but is expected to survive. The operator of the vehicle was also transported to Mass General Hospital and treated for stress.
