Armed Robbery by Knife

Yesterday officers in District 18 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery in front of 920 Hyde Park Avenue. On arrival officers located a victim, who was bleeding from the nose. The victim stated to officers that two female attacked her. The victim went on to state that one of the suspects pulled out a knife and robbed her of her cash, credit card and drivers license. The suspect fled on foot on Hyde Park Avenue. The victim was transported to Faulkner Hospital and treated for her injuries.

Loud Party at 1284 Commonwealth Avenue

Early this morning around 1:36am, officers in District 14 responded to a radio call for a party at 1284 Commonwealth Avenue. On arrival officers could hear loud music coming from the residence. Upon entering the apartment officers observed partygoers engaging in disruptive behavior and drinking alcohol. Janelle Zarkowski, 19, of Allston was arrested and charged with disturbing the Peace, Keeper of a Disorderly House and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
