Death Investigation at Crestwood Park and Townsend Street

Last night around 11:08pm, officers in District 2 responded to a radio call for a person shot at Crestwood Park and Townsend Street. On arrival officers located a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and later pronounced.

Boston Police Homicide detectives are investigating this death and ask anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
