At approximately 6:40pm, officers responded to Massachusetts & Commonwealth Avenues for a report of a disturbance. Officers met Boston University police officers who apprehended a suspect at Deerfield Street & Commonwealth Avenue. Witnesses observed the suspect walk into the restaurant with a white shopping bag and subsequently open the bag, letting three live white laboratory rats into the dining area which contained approximately 140 patrons. A commotion ensued, the suspect fled and was chased by the restaurant manager and valet. The suspect, Louis Antonellis, 35, of Billerica will be summonsed to court at a later date.
