Death Investigation at 140 Northern Avenue

This morning around 8:22am, officers in District 6 responded to a radio call for a found body floating in the water at 140 Northern Avenue. On arrival officers discovered the body of a black male with no visible signs of trauma or foul play. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Boston Police Homicide detectives are investigating this death and ask anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
