At 9:14am this morning, officers in District 2 responded to the rear service entrance of the Franklin Park Zoo, located off of Glen Lane, on a report of an unknown problem. Officers located a male victim on the ground being attended to by Emergency Medical Personnel. The victim, whose identity is not known, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has taken custody of the deceased and will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death as well as a proper identification.
