Death Investigation at 599 Columbus Avenue


At 9:45pm last night, officers in District 4 responded to the rear of 599 Columbus Avenue on a report of an unconscious male. Officers located a male victim being attended to by Emergency Medical Personnel. The victim, whose identity is not known, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has taken custody of the deceased and will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death as well as a proper identification.
