Victim Identified in Shawmut Avenue and Dwight Street Homicide

On June 25, 2006 around 11:46pm, officers from District 4 responded to Shawmut Avenue and Dwight Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a black male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim identified as Abdirauf Abdullahi, 19, of the South End and transported to Boston Medical Center, later succumbed to his injuries. Two juvenile suspects were taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
