About 12:25am on Friday June 16th, officers from District 18 responded to a call for shots fired at 1 Rosa Street. Upon arrival officers located a victim inside of a motor vehicle suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Manny Dupont of Hyde Park. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the manner of death a homicide.
