Last night at 10:22pm, officers from District 2 responded to 13 Wendover Street in Dorchester on a report of shots fired and while in route to the call were notified that a person was shot. On arrival, officers located the victim of a gunshot wound. The victim, Alex Mendes, 24, was transported to the Boston Medical Center by EMS where he was pronounced.
