W. Tremlett Street Shooting

Officers from District 3 responded to 29 W. Tremlett Street in Dorchester at 1:25am this morning for a person shot. A 23-year-old male victim was found in a first floor hallway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center and was pronounced dead at about 3:07am.

Homicide Detectives continue to investigate this incident and urge anyone with information to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous contact the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
