Another America’s Most Wanted Fugitive Arrest

On July 17, 2005, Kendall Petty and his girlfriend were driving in Boston when an argument broke out between them. Petty then threatened her life by putting a gun in her mouth. Luckily, his ex-girlfriend managed to get out of the car before she was seriously injured. Petty was featured on America’s Most Wanted on February 11, 2006.
At approximately 4:20 this afternoon, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force patrolling the Savin Hill area of Dorchester observed an individual fitting Petty’s description. Petty was seen driving alone in a motor vehicle and stopped at Deer Street & Roach Street and arrested without incident after being positively identified.
Kendall Petty, 39, of Roxbury will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court tomorrow for Operating a Motor Vehicle after License Revocation/Suspension, and two outstanding warrants: Threats & Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
