ROLL OF HONOR

Today is the anniversary of the line-of-duty death of Boston Police Officer Thomas Rose. On this date in 1993 Officer Rose was shot and killed after letting an inmate out of his cell to make a phone call. The suspect was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced to 26 - 30 years.

On this day we remember the sacrifice that Officer Tommy Rose made 13 years ago.
