Homeless Woman Flees with Stolen Handbag

About 7:30pm on Saturday night, a woman at Dominic’s Restaurant reportedly had her handbag stolen. The victim claimed she was sitting at the bar talking to the suspect, Kelly Wilkerson, a 33-year-old homeless woman, when the suspect suddenly grabbed the victim’s handbag and attempted to flee with it. The victim fought with Wilkerson to get her bag back, but Wilkerson left Dominic’s with the bag containing personal items. No arrest has been made.

33-year-old Woman Arrested in Hyde Park

Last night at 11:45pm, an officer noticed a car operating erratically and pulled the vehicle over at 1249 Hyde Park Ave. in District 18. The driver, 40-year-old Carlyle Gabriel of Brockton had been fighting with passenger Tiarra Jones, 33, of Dorchester. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Tiarra Jones for prostitution and several outstanding warrants.

19-year-old Robbed on Crowley Rogers Way

Officers of District 6 responded to a call at 9:30pm on 55-R Crowley Rogers Way. A 19-year-old male was walking down Crowley Rogers Way when three non-Hispanic white males between the ages of 20-25 attacked him. The suspects stole the victim’s jewelry and fled in a white Toyota. The victim was taken to the New England Medical Center for treatment. Officers searched the area but no suspects were found and no arrests were made.
