Man Robbed in Roslindale

This morning at 12:50am, officers from District 5 responded to 125 Sycamore St. where a 46-year-old Roslindale man was robbed. He reportedly entered a residence and was hit in the head with a club and then robbed by three unknown white males before the suspects fled. The victim was transported to Faulkner Hospital for treatment and the suspect was put into custody.

Jamaica Plain Man Arrested for Fake Prescription

Officers from District 13 responded last night to the CVS pharmacy at 267 Centre St. in response to a black male passing a fake prescription. The suspect, 42-year-old Lewis Cheshire of Jamaica Plain dropped off a prescription of Percocet. When pharmacy employees contacted the doctor who made the prescription, the doctor recalled never writing it. The suspect was arrested with charges of Forgery and Uttering.

Operation Red Zone results in Four Arrests

Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested four juveniles at 279 Centre St. last night while taking part in Operation Red Zone. Officers recovered marijuana from the residence, and arrested the suspects with charges of Distribution of Class “D” drugs, Possession and Trespassing.

Fugitive Arrested on Talbot Avenue

About 2:30pm yesterday, officers at 215 Talbot Ave. arrested suspect Billy Lester, a 33-year-old black man from Dorchester. Lester is wanted out of Georgia for cocaine distribution. The Georgia Board of Parole was notified and Lester is being held for extradition.
