SHOOTING SUSPECT TURNED IN BY FATHER

On Friday the 13th of January, 2006, a shooting occurred at 218 Blue Hill Avenue at approximately 3:10pm. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds.

Today at 12:14pm, the father of Omar Franklin, 20, of Roxbury presented his son to Boston Police Detectives from District 2 as the person responsible for the shooting.

The suspect will be arraigned tomorrow in Roxbury District Court for Assault with Intent to Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
