Missing 1-year-old Found Inside Day Care Van Unharmed

About 1947hrs tonight, officers from District 2 were informed that a 1-year-old baby boy due home at 1630hrs, had not yet returned from daycare. The childs family told police that a bus service was scheduled to drop off the child at home and had not done so. Police immediately initiated an investigation and the child was located inside the unattended bus in a lot at 636 South Street in Roslindale. Boston EMS responded to the scene to evaluate the child and as a precaution he was taken to an area hospital for further treatment. The child was found awake and alert. As of now, no charges have been filed and this investigation is ongoing.
