Boston Police Incidents for January 24, 2006

Victim Attacked at Glass Slipper

This morning at 2:35am, a 31-year-old male from Everett reports that he was asked to leave a bar. When he asked if he could finish his beer, the victim stated the suspect grabbed him by the shirt, threw him to the ground and punched him in the head numerous times. The victim refused medical attention.

Bank Robbed at 67 Beacon Street

Yesterday afternoon at 3:37pm, an unknown white female, about 5’4”, wearing a red hat, and grey hooded sweatshirt entered the Sovereign Bank at 67 Beacon Street and robbed it. The suspect passed a note and did not show a weapon. She fled on foot in an unknown direction. The FBI bank robbery task force and Boston Detectives continue to investigate this incident.

Victim Reports Bullet Holes in Vehicle

A 27-year-old Dorchester resident reports while brushing the snow off his 2005 Tahoe last night he discovered several bullet holes in the vehicle. Police found no ballistic evidence and continue to investigate this incident.

Sex Offender Arrested in Dorchester

Officers assigned to District 3 arrested Javier Ayala, 24, of Dorchester last night at 11:00pm. Ayala was found to be in violation of his status as a sex offender. He was transported to District 3, and will be arraigned this morning.
