On Wednesday August 16th, 2000, 20-year-old Michael Love of Dorchester was standing with a group of males outside 20 Fowler Street in Dorchester. Just before 11pm that night, two men walked up to the group and after a brief conversation, one pulled out a handgun and fired. Love was shot and killed.
